# User Management

## Q: How can I create a new user?

A: You can create users in the <code class="expression">space.vars.Product\_pLApp</code> if you have been assigned the Account Setup Admin group or User Management role.

2. Click **Add User**.

   The Add User page will display.

3. In the user details, section, do one or more of the following:
   * Enter the user’s first name.
   * Enter the user’s last name.
   * Enter the user’s email address.
   * Enter the user's phone number.
   * Enter the user's job title and role profile.
   * Select a locale for the user.
   * Select the user's marketing preferences.
4. In the permissions section, do one or more of the following:
   1. Assign groups to the user.
   2. Assign roles to the user.
   3. Assign accounts to the user.
5. Click **Save**.

The new user is created and will receive an email allowing them to set their password.

## Q: How many users can I create?

A: There is no limit to the number of users you can create in the <code class="expression">space.vars.Product\_pLApp</code>.

## Q: How can I deactivate a user?

A: You can deactivate users in the <code class="expression">space.vars.Product\_pLApp</code> if you have been assigned the Account Setup Admin group or User Management role.

2. Select the user account that you want to remove.\
   The Change User page will display.

3. In the Permissions section, deselect the **Active** toggle.
4. Click **Save**.

The user account is deactivated.

## Q: What roles can I assign to users?

A: Users can be set up with various access rights based on the following permissions. Each permission corresponds to a module or specific function within the <code class="expression">space.vars.Product\_App</code>.

Group permissions enable users access to a set of features in the <code class="expression">space.vars.Product\_App</code>. The available groups that can be assigned to a user are described in the following table.
