Use the Trackings Insights dashboard to get a comprehensive view of your brand's logistics performance for all outbound shipments tracked through parcelLab.

Overview

Specific reports on your logistics performance are available in the Trackings Insights dashboard.

You can use the reports and advanced filters available to review your carriers, including the percentage delivered, dispatched on time, and any carrier issues. It also highlights underperforming carriers, identifies if their performance is tied to seasonal trends, or if they consistently underperform in specific regions.

Leadtime Types

The reports in the Trackings Insights dashboard contain information about leadtimes.

The leadtimes and their position in the delivery process are shown in the graphic below.

The relevant types of leadtime in the delivery process are described in the following table.

Leadtime Type
Description

Pickup scheduled until first attempt

Time from EDI transmission to logistics provider until first delivery attempt to customer premises.

Order until in transit

Time from order placement until parcel is collected by carrier.

Pickup scheduled until final delivery

Time from EDI transmission to logistics provider until successful delivery to customer premises.

Order until delivery

Time from order placement until first delivery attempt to customer premises.

In transit until drop off

Time from parcel on its way until first delivery attempt to customer premises.

Drop off to final delivery

Time from first delivery attempt to customer premises (failed attempt) until successful attempt.

Order until sent

Time from order placement until parcel is dispatched by the warehouse (information provided by retailer).

Purpose of the Reports

This section provides some example questions and how specific reports can help you answer them to give insights into your data.

The first example question is: In which regions do my carriers tend to present more issues?

This can be answered by going to the Delivery report and viewing the "Logistics Performance Insights" table. By using the filters above the table, you can visualize this by carrier and region of the country, and decide which type of issue you would like to visualize.

The second example question is: How many parcels are arriving from point A to B in one day?

This can be answered by going to the Leadtimes report and viewing the "Number of delivered parcels by type of lead time" table. This allows you to see how many parcels were delivered within a timeframe (for example: one day). By using the filter above the table, you can visualize this by carrier, warehouse, and more. Additionally, if you would like to see only international parcels, you can select True on the "Has customs" filter.
