Return Approvals

Manage returns more efficiently by leveraging the Return Approvals dashboard to perform quality checks before processing returns.

Overview

The Return Approvals dashboard is available in the parcelLab App for you to review newly added return requests submitted via the parcelLab Returns Portal. Each return registration is accompanied by images and customer-provided information relating to the return (for example: return reason), enabling retailers to approve or reject the request based on a thorough assessment. The dashboard also provides an option to leave returns pending approval for further review.

For customer service agents, it helps to streamline workflows by managing return approvals directly in the parcelLab App. With a single click, agents can approve or reject returns based on pre-set conditions like return value thresholds or flagged items for efficient decision-making.

Using the Returns Approval Dashboard

In the Returns module in the parcelLab App, you can review recently added return requests and approve or reject these customer returns.

Follow our instructions below for full details of how to accept or reject return registrations.

Accept a Return Request

To approve a return request:

1. Select the return request awaiting approval on the Return Approvals dashboard.

   

   The selected return request will display.

2. Review the details of the return request.

3. Click Accept.

   

The return request is approved.

Reject a Return Request

To reject a return request:

1. Select the return request awaiting approval on the Return Approvals dashboard.

   

   The selected return request will display.

2. Review the details of the return request.

3. Click Reject.

   

   A pop-up window will display asking you to confirm the rejection.

   
4. Select a reason for rejecting the request from the drop-down list.

5. Click Confirm.

The return request is declined.
