Sending On-Demand Messages

The following instructions explain the basics of setting up on-demand messages and the different components that need to be set up in order to send ad-hoc communications.

Create a new message type

Start by creating a new message type in Messages for your on-demand message. Be sure to save and publish your message type so it can be sent.

Create an on-demand message

Next, in On Demand Messaging, select the message type to use and add filters to define the recipients for the message.

Save and send

When you’re satisfied with the configuration of your on-demand message (that is: with the content in the message and the filtered segment of recipients), your on-demand message is ready to be sent!
